WorldSBK Round 10 arrives in Italy this weekend, and it’s carrying a new name: the EICMA Italian Round at Cremona Circuit.
Cremona’s New Chapter
For years this round ran in May, but 2026 brings a shift in both calendar slot and identity. Cremona Circuit, a purpose-built venue between Milan and Bologna, now hosts a September date under the newly signed WorldSBK-EICMA partnership, previewing November’s EICMA exhibition in Milan. The tight infield and demanding braking zones leave riders little room to settle, and with the Supersport and Sportbike World Championship grids sharing the weekend, Cremona will be busy from lights to flag.
Two Riders Chasing the Final Rounds
Danilo Petrucci and Miguel Oliveira take to the grid for the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team with the championship entering its closing stretch. A home round for the event’s Italian partner adds extra weight to the weekend, and neither rider is short on motivation heading into Superpole and race day.

Cremona’s tight layout punishes any hesitation, and that goes for the equipment behind the team too.
