Thaihuawei Battery Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through thaihuaweibattery.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect personal data that you choose to provide directly to us, as well as some data collected automatically when you visit our website.

  • Contact form: full name, company name (optional), email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Business inquiry form: full name, email address, phone number, company name, website, country, business type, and inquiry details.
  • Live chat: messages you send through our chat widget, operated by our third-party provider, Fastbots.ai.
  • Automatically collected data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and referral source, collected via Google Analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations;
  • Provide technical support and after-sales service;
  • Evaluate and manage business and OEM partnership requests;
  • Understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our website so we can improve it;
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Under the PDPA, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — when you submit a contact or business inquiry form, you consent to us processing your data to respond to your request.
  • Legitimate interest — for website analytics and to improve our products, services, and user experience.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law or a request from a competent authority.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies set by Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our website in aggregate, such as which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay. These cookies do not identify you personally. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from browsing the site, but some features may not function as intended.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, to the extent necessary to operate our website and respond to you:

  • Formspree, Inc. — processes submissions from our Contact and Business Inquiry forms.
  • Google LLC — provides Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and the Google Maps embed on our Contact page.
  • Fastbots.ai — operates the live chat widget available on our website.
  • Government authorities or regulators — where disclosure is required by law.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. As a general rule, inquiry and contact-form data is retained for no longer than 2 years from your last interaction with us, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, or needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

Your Rights Under the PDPA

Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you have the right to:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your personal data;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request deletion or anonymisation of your data;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing of your data;
  • Request data portability, where technically feasible;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;

Our website is served entirely over HTTPS. We limit access to personal data submitted through our forms to authorised personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry. We do not process or store payment card data on our website.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers, including Google LLC and Formspree, Inc., process data on servers located outside Thailand, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection consistent with the PDPA.
